CreateHERS confirmed something I already knew about burnout.
What a room full of accomplished women taught me this weekend
This weekend I spoke at a women's conference called createHERS. My talk was called "You Can't Outsource Your Inner Work."
Here's what I actually remember from the stage: forgetting my notes, twice. The rest is a blur of adrenaline. But I remember the room.
I introduced the four stress signs, and I watched women recognize themselves in real time. When I asked the room to stand if they had real support with their task list, all of them stood.
When I asked who still felt exhausted, like there weren't enough hours in the day, all the hands went up anyway.
That's the pattern. Support doesn't cancel out exhaustion when the exhaustion isn't about the task list in the first place.
As women in business, we treat the to-do list like the problem. It isn't. There will always be more to do. The thing that actually needs attention, the thing no one can delegate for you, is noticing when you've crossed into overwhelmed. That was the real message.
What struck me most was the hunger in that room. These women weren't asking for another app or a better system. They wanted to understand why they carry everything on their own shoulders. Why they freeze instead of act. Why saying no feels impossible even at full capacity. Why rest feels unearned.
My goal wasn't just to get them asking those questions. It was to get them asking the next one: when I notice I'm doing this, what do I do differently? That's where real change starts, and it's exactly what the Collective was built for.
The Stress Zodiac Collective exists to take you past awareness and into daily tools you actually use, at your own pace, from your phone.
Right now, it covers
✨ Clutter
✨ Debt Management
✨ Navigating Friendships in Adulthood
✨ Boundaries & Saying No
✨ Dressing with Less Stress
Next month brings Communication & Connection.
If any of that sounds like something you've been carrying, the Stress Zodiac Collective is open with a 7-day free trial if you want the tools that go with your pattern.
We also have The Stress Zodiac Retreat this November, and more in-person events coming in 2027 if you're craving something in person.
It's always an invitation here.
Big hugs,
Cindy
