Important Distinction

This website does not collect, store, or transmit protected health information (PHI). The Site is a marketing and informational resource. No clinical records, therapy notes, or health data are stored on or transmitted through this website.

What This Website Does

  • Provides general information about services, events, and resources
  • Collects contact form submissions (name, email, phone, message)
  • Processes product purchases via Stripe
  • Hosts quiz experiences via Tally

What This Website Does Not Do

  • Store or transmit therapy notes, clinical records, or diagnoses
  • Function as a patient portal or telehealth platform
  • Provide clinical advice or crisis intervention

Clinical Services

For clients receiving therapy services from Cindy Ransom, LMFT:

  • PHI is managed through HIPAA-compliant platforms used for scheduling, telehealth, billing, and clinical documentation, separate from this website.
  • Insurance billing is processed through Alma, a HIPAA-compliant platform.
  • A separate Notice of Privacy Practices is provided to therapy clients as part of the intake process.

Your Rights Under HIPAA

If you are a therapy client, you have the right to:

  • Receive a copy of your health records
  • Request corrections to your records
  • Receive an accounting of disclosures
  • Request restrictions on certain uses and disclosures
  • Receive confidential communications

These rights apply to your clinical records, which are maintained separately from this website.
